Thanks to the emollient and protective action of marshmallow mucilage, RS4/MIRABILUS® PETTORALIS works by creating a natural film that coats the oropharyngeal mucosa, protecting it from irritants and soothing dry cough.

Mucus-thinning and decongestant action

The combination of Propolis, Tolu Balsam and Plantain stimulates bronchial secretions, helping to turn a dry cough into a productive cough, making mucus easier to expel.

Gentle yet effective, including for children

The formula is free from added sugars, gluten and lactose, and is enriched with natural sweeteners (Stevia and Sorbitol), making it well tolerated even by younger children.

How it works in your body

Marshmallow (2576 mg fluid extract)

Rich in mucilage with an emollient, decongestant and soothing effect. It calms dry coughs, protects inflamed mucous membranes and reduces throat irritation.

Propolis (644 mg dry extract, 2.5% galangin)

A natural immune stimulant with antibacterial and antiviral activity, it modulates the inflammatory response and supports the local immune system.

Tolu Balsam (1288 mg fluid extract)

A traditional expectorant and balsamic remedy, it promotes bronchial mucus flow and soothes the respiratory mucous membranes.

Plantain (500 mg fluid extract)

An anti-inflammatory and antibacterial plant, useful for relieving inflammation in the upper airways and thinning secretions.

Liquorice (500 mg fluid extract)

A soothing and protective action on the gastric and oropharyngeal mucosa, useful against cough, irritation and reflux-related acidity.

Sulforaphane (0.4 mg)

An antioxidant and cytoprotective compound from broccoli, it acts at the genetic and inflammatory levels, improving mucosal resilience and regeneration.

Niaouli essential oil (48 mg)

A balsamic essential oil with antibacterial properties that purifies and disinfects the upper respiratory tract.

How to get the best results

  • Adults: 10 ml, 4 times a day.
  • Children aged 3–9: 5 ml, 4 times a day.
  • Shake well before use. It can be taken as is or diluted in a little water or herbal tea.

Frequently asked questions

When is RS4 PETTORALIS useful?
For persistent dry cough, an irritated throat and inflammation caused by colds, including as support in the early stages of an infection. Do not use in cases of thyroid dysfunction.

Can it be used with other MIRABILUS® products?
Yes. It works well alongside RS3/VOX (vocal cords) or RS5/PROFUNDUM (productive cough) for combined action on the larynx and bronchi.

Is it suitable for children?
Yes, for children aged 3 and over, at half the adult dose. 

Does it contain sugar?
No. It is sweetened with Stevia and Sorbitol, making it suitable for people with diabetes and those following a low-sugar diet.
