Dry cough, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, continuous irritation? RS4/MIRABILUS® PETTORALIS is the MIRABILUS® line phytotherapeutic syrup designed to soothe dry coughs and irritated throats, and help fluidify bronchial secretions due to colds or seasonal ailments.

A sugar-free vegetable-based syrup containing Mash-Mallow, Propolis, Tolu balsam, Liquorice, Plantain and Sulforaphane. Suitable for diabetics or sugar-intolerant individuals. Please consult carefully the list of ingredients in case of allergies noting especially that it contains soya derivatives.

Thanks to Marsh-Mallow’s emollient and protective mucilage actions, RS4/MIRABILUS® PETTORALIS acts by coating the oropharyngeal mucosa with a natural film, protecting it from irritants and helping sooth dry coughs.

Thinner and decongestant

The combination of Propolis, Tolu Balsam and Plantain is designed to stimulate bronchial secretions, helping to loosen up a dry cough and thus facilitating mucus expulsion.

Gentle but effective, suitable also for children

A well tolerated, even by young children formula. No added sugars, gluten- and lactose-free. It is only enriched with natural sweeteners i.e. Stevia and Sorbitol.

How it works in your body

Marsh-Mallow - Althea (2576 mg f.e.)

Rich in mucilage with an emollient, decongestant and soothing action. Soothes dry coughs, protects the inflamed mucosa and reduces throat irritations.

Propolis (644 mg d.e. 2.5% galangin)

Natural immunostimulant, antibacterial and antiviral, modulates inflammatory response and aids local immune system.

Tolu balsam (1288 mg f.e.)

Traditional expectorant and balsamic remedy promoting bronchial mucus fluidity and soothing respiratory mucous membranes.

Plantain (500 mg f.e.)

A plant with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, helpful for relieving upper airways inflammation and fluidifying secretions.

Liquorice (500 mg f.e.)

Soothing and protective action on the gastric and oropharyngeal mucosa, helpful against coughing, irritations and reflux acidity.

Sulforaphane (0.4 mg)

Derived from broccoli, it has antioxidant and cytoprotective properties targeting on the genetic and inflammatory levels, improving resistance and mucous membrane regeneration.

Niaouly e.o. (48 mg)

Balsamic and antibacterial essential oil helping purify and disinfect the upper respiratory tract.

How to get the best results

Adult dosage: 10 ml, 4 times a day.
Children 3-9 years dosage: 5 ml, 4 times a day.
Shake well before using. Can be taken as is or diluted in a little water or herbal tea.

What is in the package and how best to store it

Packaging: 200 ml dark glass bottle with measuring cup.
Free of gluten, lactose, sugar, and preservatives. Suitable for vegetarians.

In what cases is RS4 PETTORALIS best suited?
Persistent dry coughs, irritated throats, cold inflammation or at early stages of infections. Do not use in case of thyroid dysfunction.

Yes. It is perfect in synergy with RS3/VOX (aiding vocal cords) or RS5/PROFUNDUM (against phlegmy coughs) for a better-combined action on the larynx and bronchi.

Is it suitable for children?
Yes, 3 years old and above, halving the adults dosage.

Does it contain sugar?
No. It is only sweetened with Stevia and Sorbitol making it suitable for diabetics and individuals with hypoglycaemic diets.
